I am mindful of the risk that failing to practice seal carving over an extended period could lead to losing my touch. So, whenever I have time during the holidays, I still go to my teacher for practice. Moreover, seal carving techniques are built upon the foundation of calligraphy skills. Practicing seal carving also hones calligraphy techniques. It’s a fascinating craft, and I hope to have more time to practice it.
