During the summer vacation of my third grade, I went to a sailing summer camp with my friends. We learned junior sailor skills, learned to pack and control the sailboat, and tried to go to sea under the protection of the instructor. The summer camp lasted for half a month.
At this time, my swimming level was pretty good, but I was required to wear a life jacket the whole time I went out to sea. The coaches especially taught us that life comes first and various safety matters. After the examination, I obtained the junior sailor certificate.
I really like being a sailor, but unfortunately, my eyes got infected and inflammatory in the sea water, and I had to treat them repeatedly for 4 years, so I had to stay away from water sports in these years.
