The three most important sites on our Montenegro journey were the Aman Sveti Stefan, the ancient city of Budva, and the ancient city of Kotor. Jean-Michael Gathy designed the Aman Sveti Stefan, transforming an 18th century fishing village into a natural and Zen-like holiday paradise. It’s a shame that it was off season, but the hotel just outside the island was stunning.
