There were three main cities we visited in the western United States: San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas. We traveled on Highway 1, which runs from east to west. We visited the Google office area, Stanford University, Lombard Street, the mansions and villas in Hollywood, the commercial buildings at Fisherman’s Wharf, the Lakers home building, the Disney Concert Hall designed by the famous architect Frank Gehry, and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art designed by the Swiss architect Mario Botta.
