At the eighth-grade film festival, all 50 students from our class were present. Our program showed a famous story in ancient China: Zhaojun went out to the fortress. To commemorate this legend, our classmates were divided into groups to perform several styles of dance, as well as scenes of confrontation between soldiers from the two countries. Everyone cooperated very well throughout the dance, which was magnificent and garnered applause from the entire house. I played the part of a Mongolian soldier and had to imitate the steps and bold dances of ancient Mongolian men, exhibiting the posture of a warrior. This was unchartered terrain for me. In fact, most of our classmates (especially the boys), had never received any dance training since childhood. The film festival offered us a new and different experience. It turned out that we only needed to set goals, put in effort, and learn. By breaking through our own perceived limitations, we were able to achieve great results.
